This comfy 2-bedroom apartment for rent on Carrer de Cotonat is on the 1st floor of a old building, but was recently renovated, so everything inside is practically brand new. The apartment opens onto a wood floor corridor with one of the bedrooms directly in front. Turning right into the hall, you’ll find a gorgeous modern bathroom with beautifully tiled shower stall, before reaching the open-plan kitchen, dining and living rooms. Counter space is limited, but the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and a round 4-seat table, a sofa and flat screen TV on a sideboard fill out the rest of the space. Just beyond the sofa is a door to the second bedroom. Your private washing machine is located in a storage closet on the rooftop, and the best thing about this is that you can enjoy sitting on the terrace while waiting for the wash cycle to end.
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat is a quiet place just outside if Barcelona’s city limits. It’s a densely populated area and a city unto itself. If you enjoy football, then you’ll be happy to discover that your apartment is only a 16-minute walk away from FC Barcelona’s home stadium, Camp Nou. And if you enjoy other sports, there is both a tennis and a polo club close to the stadium. There are shops, restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, and there is a grocery store, pharmacy and butcher shop just 1 minute from your door.
What we liked the most
- It may be for common use, but access to the rooftop terrace is a definite bonus, and having a private washing machine is also a plus.
- If you like sports, you’ll love being close to Camp Nou, as well as a few sports clubs.
- The Mercat de la Florida shopping mall is only an 8-minute walk away.
- Bars and restaurants are just around the corner.

- There’s a bus stop just one street over, a couple of minutes from the apartment. It serves line LH2. Alternatively, you can get to the bus stops at Av. Ponent or Carretera de Collblanc in a little over 5 minutes to get access to multiple day and night routes.
- It’s a 7-minute walk to the Collblanc metro station, on lines L5 and L9S. If you’d rather take line L1, the Torrassa station is only 8 minutes away in the opposite direction.
- At the Ernest Lluch tramway station, 10 minutes from your front door, you can catch trams T1, T2 and T3.
