Absolutely stunning 2-bedroom apartment is available to rent in a privileged position in the beautiful La Barceloneta district, between the beach and the historic heart of the city. The apartment has been decorated to very high standards where you'll find a large living room and kitchen with funky lamps plus stylish spotlights in the wooden beams in the ceiling. There's plenty of wall units for storage as well as a well-equipped modern kitchen for cooking meals which you can serve around the modern dining table. There's a sofa bed in the living room for guests or extra tenants, which is very useful. From the balcony, you can enjoy street views from this picturesque neighbourhood.

This is a beautiful district for beach lovers as it's just a 7 minute stroll to the sandy beach where you can then walk along the promenade to the pretty Barceloneta park. An equally beautiful and short 7-minute walk is alongside the marina to the landmark Columbus monument where you can walk up La Rambla to see many of Barcelona's famous landmarks such as La Boqueria food market or head off to the Gothic quarter for Barcelona Cathedral, basilicas and beautiful historic squares.

What we liked the most

  • The chic lighting on the wooden ceilings are very pretty.
  • The vast amount of wall units for storage.
  • Everything looks very modern and clean, especially the kitchen.
  • The double sofa bed means family or friends can stay over.

Things to keep in mind

  • The rent goes up in the summer months.
