This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Carrer d’Ataülf may be compact, but it has a lot of personality. As you step in through the door, you’re greeted by recently refurbished open-plan space that combines the living, dining and kitchen areas in one. With a comfortable sofa that can open into an extra bed, a flat-screen TV on the wall, and a cute round table for 4, you’re all set. The fully equipped one-wall kitchen, with modern appliances that include a washer/dryer, complete the industrial-chic look. An open riser staircase spirals upstairs, where the large bedroom and gorgeous en-suite bathroom are located. There are AC units both downstairs and upstairs.

Your duplex is located in the heart of the oldest and liveliest neighborhood in Barcelona. The closed maze of narrow streets is swarming with restaurants, bakeries, tapas and cocktail bars, music venues and all sorts of stores. There’s even a bike repair shop on your street. You’re only minutes away from the famous La Rambla, where endless streams of tourists marvel at the street performers as they head up to La Boqueria. The gorgeous waterfront promenade of Moll de la Fusta is even closer, less than 5 minutes from your doorstep!

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is super cute and has a lot of personality. Who doesn’t love a duplex?
  • There’s AC in both the bedroom and in the open-space living area.
  • The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s even a washer and dryer.
  • If you like to live where the action is and enjoy playing tourist, there’s no better place to be.
