Decorated in a traditional Spanish style, the apartment is bright and has 2 single bedrooms (one of which has an extra bed), a functional kitchen, a sizeable living room, and a bathroom. There is also a patio which doubles as a utility room.
L'Hospitalet sits right on the edge of Barcelona and is extremely well connected to the city—you're about a 10-minute metro ride from Las Ramblas. This authentic neighbourhood has everything you need right on your doorstep, including supermarkets, places to eat and drink, a gym, and even a huge shopping mall, Gran Via 2, which is next to an Ikea.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is bright and has a sunny patio.
- Bedroom 1 has an extra bed—handy for when visitors come.
- You're just a 10-minute metro journey from the historic centre of Barcelona.
- There's an Ikea nearby—perfect to spruce the place up.
Things to keep in mind
- The kitchen doesn't have utensils, and the decor is a bit dated.
- There is no washing machine.
