Spotahome's opinion

A room is available for rent in this 3-bedroom apartment shared with the live-in landlord and one other tenant in L'Eixample Dreta. The apartment is bright and spacious and has a balcony overlooking Carrer de Còrsega. The kitchen has an oven and a double sink, and plenty of storage space. Alongside is a laundry room with a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower over the bathtub, washbasin, toilet, and bidet. The living room is very bright and spacious and has a dining table, along with a sofa and some shelving units along with a large TV.

Transport links from the area are fantastic, not that you'll need to leave, as practically everything you'll need is close by. The area is absolutely packed with shopping, bars, restaurants, tavernas and cafes. There is even a grocery store next door to the apartment! El Parc del Guinardó is about a 15-minute walk away, and as well as offering stunning (we mean, really, really, amazing) views of the city, is beautiful in its own right, with woodlands, fountains, and waterfalls.

What we liked the most

  • The living room is very bright and spacious, and there are great views of the tree-lined street from its windows and balcony.
  • You will be living with a web-designer, so the internet is super-fast!
  • There are loads of transport options nearby, including regional trains.
  • One of the city's most famous landmarks, La Sagrada Familia, is just a short walk away.

Things to keep in mind

  • Although there was no TV in the living room at the time of Spotahome's visit, there will be one by the time a tenant moves in.
