Spotahome's opinion

If you've ever wanted to live close to the sea, and in a major city all at the same time, you're probably not going to get better than this wonderful 2nd floor studio in Barcelona. If it takes you 2 minutes to get to the beach, you're being a slouch!

This is a unique studio in that it technically has a separate bedroom. Not that you can tell! The sleeping area is "hidden" by a glass screen. The room has a double bed, a chest of drawers, a set of shelves and other clothes storage. The kitchen area has a 2-ring electric stove, microwave, oven, washing machine and a large fridge and freezer. The kitchen also has a small dining table and a sofa to relax on. Finally, the bathroom is up a couple of small steps and has a toilet and sink, with a very cool bathtub and shower.

And if that wasn't enough, the property also has a private balcony to enjoy the terraced street views of Barceloneta. And don't forget the beach is right around the corner!

What we liked the most

  • This property is sooo close to the beach. Perfect for a summer stroll.
  • The studio feels like it has separate rooms thanks to the bedroom divider.
  • For a small studio, the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need.
  • The bathroom is unique, with plenty of walking space and a bath and shower.
  • Any balcony is a good balcony.
  • Our home checker loved the property - he said so himself!

Things to keep in mind

  • The property lacks a traditional living room, but it makes up for it with a great kitchen and bathroom.
  • The closest metro is 10 minutes' walking away - and this is a surprisingly long way in Barcelona!
