The front door to this gorgeous 2-bedroom apartment to rent opens into a long corridor. Turning right leads you to the renovated bathroom with a laundry machine. Here you'll also find the open-plan kitchen, dining and living rooms. You get some light into this large area from a window with a courtyard view. The space is furnished with a comfy sofa, wall-mounted flat screen TV and 6-seat dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and ample cupboards. At the other end of the hall are the bedrooms. Both have windows and double beds, although one of them is larger and includes a desk with a chair where you can work from home.
Your apartment in Moabit is located in a multi-cultural and residential area. The area is renowned for old prisons. History Park Cell Prison is located on the other side of Fritz-Schloss Park, which is roughly 15 minutes away. The neighborhood is surrounded by canals, and when there isn’t water then you’ll find some green spaces. You’ll find a vegan restaurant around the corner, as well as a bakery and a few cocktail bars where you can unwind. Cooking at home will prove easy. There are grocery stores around every corner! Penny Markt is 3 minutes away, but there are smaller grocery stores, and the Lidl Discount Supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.
What we liked the most
- The decor is modern and comfortable and there is a laundry machine, which is always convenient!
- You have terrific access to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn, and it’s very quick to get downtown.
- You won’t have trouble getting groceries, because supermarkets are everywhere!
- There are some terrific local bars and cafés within a 10-minute walk.
