There are rooms for rent in this modern 55 m² 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on Plönzeile in Treptow-Köpenick. The shared bathroom has a shower over a bath, toilet and a mirror, while the kitchen is spacious and comes with a 4-burner stove and oven. The whole apartment is inviting, and has hardwood floors and a neutral decor throughout.
Although this apartment is located a little outside of the centre of Berlin, you will still find plenty of things to keep you busy nearby. For the students, the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin is only a 15-minute tram ride away, while the Deutsch-Russisches Museum is within a half-hour tram ride for those with curious minds. There are also a few restaurants and a supermarket within a 15-minute walk of this apartment, which is very convenient.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is close to public transport, so you can get to the centre of Berlin in around half an hour.
- There is a dishwasher in the kitchen so you don't need to spend too much time cleaning up after dinner.
- The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook, including plates and pots.
- Tierpark Berlin is just over a half hour away using public transport, and is a great place to spend the day.
- There is central heating to keep you warm in the colder months.
Things to keep in mind
- The refrigerator is half-sized, but is suitable for 1-2 people.
- Although there is a washing machine, there is no dryer so clothes will need to be hung up to dry.
