The first thing that might catch your eye about this 2nd floor studio apartment are the gorgeous wood floors through the hall to the main living space. The bathroom, just to the left of the front door, has modern tiling, is spacious, and comes with a tub and a washing machine. The main room has two large windows with an interior courtyard view. It’s a roomy area with a chest of drawers, coffee table, sofa bed, TV and a double bed. The kitchen is in a separate room. It’s fully equipped, has a 2-seat dining table, as well as a large window that also overlooks the courtyard.
Wedding has traditionally been a multi-cultural residential area, but it’s quickly becoming one of the hottest spots to live in Berlin. In this spot, you are close to the canals, as well as a half dozen small and large green spaces. You can easily find entertainment in this neighborhood. Atze Musiktheater is just 5 minutes away, and you can catch a movie at Monis-Sexkino cinema, also a few minutes from your door. You’re close to a few schools, including the Beuth University of Applied Sciences. You are also surrounded by numerous restaurants, and there is an Edeka Supermarket just down the street.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is spacious, newly renovated, gets lots of light and has wood floors. It’s a terrific spot to call home.
- There are numerous parks nearby, and for some extra exercise you can check out the yoga studio, which is 10 minutes away.
- In addition to the larger grocery store, there is an African goods and an Asian grocery store 4 minutes away.
- With two bakeries around the corner, you’ll always find fresh bread and pastries.
