This cute 5th floor 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Clavature is located in an historic 15th century building that was renovated in 2010. The decor is modern, although exposed wood beams add a touch rustic warmth. The bedroom has a small window, which is perfect if you like to sleep in without worrying that the sunlight will wake you. The bathroom doesn’t have a window, but is contemporary and elegant with a gorgeous tub. The main living space is a cozy open area with an equipped one-wall kitchen, dining table for 4 and a 2-seat sectional in front of a flat screen TV. Additionally, there is a small room with a washing machine and clothes rack for drying.
The Renaissance-style Palazzo dei Banchi, where your apartment is located, is at the very center of Galvani, Bologna’s historical district. Overlooking Piazza Maggiore, this means that you’ll be next-door neighbors with Palazzo Comunale and Basilica di San Petronio, and just 2 minutes from Palazzo Re Enzo and the fabulous Biblioteca Salaborsa. When it comes to restaurants and cafés, you will have so many to choose from that it may take a while to choose your favorite. If you prefer to prepare your meals at home, however, you’ll be glad to know that there is a Pam Local grocery store just across the piazza, less than 2 minutes away.

- Bologna Centrale railway station is a 20-minute walk or a 12-minute bus ride away from the apartment.
- Guglielmo Marconi Airport can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by bus.
