Can we just say: wow.
There is everything to love about this house in Brussels Centre.
The 92 m², 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property is spread across 7 floors, and is completely equipped to make you completely comfortable from the moment you move in. Although an old building, the interior is modern and stylish, immaculately decorated, and full of those deft decorative touches that turn a house into a home.
So the house is pretty spectacular, but what about the area?
Well, you'll be living in the heart of the city, on one of the oldest streets in Brussels. Pedestrian only, the narrow, cobbled street is a beautiful welcome home after a hard day at work, (or shopping in the centre and dining at one of the many excellent restaurants at nearby Place Sainte-Catherine).
The metro is nearby. The river is nearby. The central shopping district is nearby. So is the museum district. Everything is nearby!
Live in city-centre comfort, and watch the sun set from the rooftop terrace. Not bad. Not bad at all.
What we liked the most
- We like everything about this house!
- 2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Perfect.
- Rue de la Cigogne is a beautiful little street to live on. (Everybody will be jealous!)
- The location is ideal if you work in the centre of the city, but if you don't, the metro is just a few minute's walk away.
Things to keep in mind
- For privacy reasons, this house would best suit a family, or very close friends. The bedroom on the 4th floor is open to the stairs, and the bathroom on the third floor has a glass ceiling to the 5th floor, to allow in daylight.
