This absolutely stunning 1-bedroom apartment is spread over two floors and is available to rent in the Schaerbeek neighbourhood. The apartment has beautiful wooden floors, wooden ceiling, exposed painted brickwork, skylights and sloping ceilings to create a warm atmosphere. There's a lovely living area with sofa and TV which is a cosy place to relax alongside a kitchenette with a hob, microwave and dishwasher. Impressive wooden stairs lead up to the bedroom with a large double bed and bathroom with shower. This is a really stunning apartment which makes the most of its natural features.
The apartment is in a lovely location next door to the charming Clockarium museum dedicated to art-deco ceramic clocks. Cross the main R21 and you are at the Diamant metro station, so public transport is close at hand too. Walk along the Avenue de Roodebeek to get to the supermarket within 4 minutes. You will also be living just 15 minutes from the splendid Parc du Cinquantenaire, home to the Belgian Racing Legends and Royal Museum of the Armed Forces. This is a beautiful district to live in while still being just 20 minutes by metro from the city centre.
What we liked the most
- The sloped ceilings create little nooks and crannies which are very cosy.
- The use of wood throughout creates a very stylish and warm home.
- Having the bedroom upstairs gives a great sense of privacy.
