If you want to live in downtown Brussels, this 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Rue Sainte-Catherine is as close as you’ll get. In fact, it is right smack in the city center! The space has a unique and youthful feel to it, with mismatched dining room chairs and a blend of modern and rustic touches and gorgeous wood floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen with ample storage space, as well as separate toilet and bathroom, where you’ll also find a washing machine.
The city center is one that’s populated with plenty of tourists, and with this in mind, you’ll be able to find plenty of boutiques and amazing food in the many different restaurants. There is a supermarket across the street from your apartment, but when possible, you’ll want to go to the lively Grand Place, only 5 minutes away. With malls, museums and even a cinema within walking distance, you won’t need to leave the city center unless to explore other colorful areas in Brussels.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is spacious and you can’t beat the location.
- Pharmacies, malls, markets and grocery stores are within a 5-minute walk.
- The neighborhood is a blend of new and old, and there is always a piece of history to be uncovered just around the corner.
- Metro, bus and tram stations are nearby so you can easily explore other parts of the city.
