Spotahome's opinion

The first thing you’ll notice upon entering this 2-bedroom apartment for rent on Rue des Cygnes is the tremendous amount of natural light. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living rooms are bookended by huge windows. Decorated with soft neutral colors, there is a sunny atmosphere throughout. A large, comfy sofa and flat screen TV welcome you into the space, and the dining area, with a contemporary table and chairs, is right in front of the fully-equipped kitchen, partially concealed by a half wall. The bedrooms are spacious and just as brilliant, with large windows. A shared bathroom with two sinks, tub and shower does double duty as laundry room, with a washer and drier. There is also a separate toilet closer to the living room.

If you revel in a vibrant, multi-cultural neighborhood, Ixelles is the place for you. It’s an upscale part of town filled with immigrants and expats, which means there is no better place to find an array of unique items and products when roaming the shops. And make no mistake, there are plenty of shops and boutiques! Both the Galerie d'Ixelles and the Galerie de la Porte de Namur, where you’ll find everything from clothes to speciality foods, are within a 15-minute bus ride. If you prefer to stroll through the neighborhood, you’re sure to discover cafés, little parks, and more than a half dozen art nouveau houses designed by famed Belgian architect Victor Horta.
