Spotahome's opinion

This 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Hooikaai is fantastic. It’s spacious, comfortable and sunny. From the front door you enter a hallway. To one side you’ll find a toilet room and a bathroom, which has a double sink, tub and heated towel rack. The bedrooms are also located on this side of the apartment, and they both have sliding doors leading to a balcony. To the other side of the apartment is the open-concept living space. The modern and fully-equipped kitchen is partially hidden by a low wall. On the opposite side of the kitchen is a door to the laundry room, which has a washer and dryer. The main area is the combined living and dining room, which is furnished and includes a TV. And, all around this space are windows, so you get ample natural light.

Brussels City Center is a terrific neighborhood for those who enjoy the bustle of urban living. There are plenty of tourists in this part of town, and plenty of locals too. Across the street from your new home you can escape into a wonderful little green park to read or just relax. You might need to— there is so much to do here. You’re located 6 minutes away from the Théâtre National Wallonie Bruxelles and just 3 minutes from the Royal Flemish Theater. There are also several museums nearby, including the Hooy Kaye Museum on the other side of the park. You won’t have a problem finding lovely cafés and restaurants in this part of town. And you can do your grocery shopping at the Aldi supermarket, which is a 10-minute walk away.

What we liked the most

  • The bedroom balconies are great, and windows all around the living area give the apartment a bright and airy feel.
  • You’re close to theaters and a cinema, and only 16 minutes from Ancienne Belgique concert venue.
  • If you’re a student, the Saint-Louis University is just a 12-minute walk away.
  • The neighborhood is rich in museums and historical sites.

How to book
