This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Rue Philippe Baucq is your home away from home. The combined living and dining room has a huge window, so you get tons of light during the day. It’s a warm space with neutral-colored furnishings. A large sofa, 4-seat dining table, comfy chair, TV and other furnishings give it a homey feel. The fully-equipped kitchen is small, but quaint and includes a dishwasher and wine fridge. There is a little balcony off of this space where you can eat a meal on a warm summer day. The bathroom, which has a shower stall and a washer and dryer, is spacious. The toilet is in a separate space. The relaxing bedroom has a large wardrobe and sunny window.
Etterbeek is known as one of the more affordable neighborhoods in Brussels. It’s a modern and quiet area with lovely tree-lined streets and great connections to the rest of the city. With a 15-minute walk, you can be swimming in the local pool. Etterbeek Sport is a gym next to the pool. Shopping is easy too — there are a couple of nearby supermarkets. Delhaize St Antoine is a local one that’s 5 minutes away. There is a pharmacy and bank just down the street, but it’s not all residential. There are a few shops and restaurants too!
What we liked the most
- The apartment has everything you need, including a warm comfortable atmosphere.
- Leopold Park, less than 15 minutes north, is ideal for a stroll and a picnic.
- The Free University of Brussels is a 15-minute bus ride away.
- There are three nearby theaters, including Center Lumen theater, which is 10 minutes away.
