This bright 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Avenue Henry Dunant is on the ground floor. A small vestibule with a wardrobe welcomes you when you open the front door. The kitchen, living, and dining room combine into a single inviting space with a window and door. The L-shaped kitchen has everything you need, including ample cupboard space. The rest of the room is furnished with a dining table, sofa, armchair, and TV. The glass door leads to a terrace surrounded by a low hedge and looks onto the street. The relaxing double bedroom offers lots of storage. And the bathroom includes a washing machine.

Schaerbeek is a neighborhood that covers a lot of ground. Within a 30-minute walk, you’ll discover Albertpark, Schumanpark, and Josaphatpark. The Kituro Rugby Club plays on a field nearby. You’ll find several supermarkets in the general area. Colruyt Evere is the closest. It’s 5 minutes away. Everything you need, like a pharmacy and bank, can be found on your block. There is a tanning salon nearby, and the Basic Fit gym is just 10 minutes away. It’s a lovely neighborhood filled with art deco and art nouveau architecture waiting to be discovered.

What we liked the most

  • The terrace isn’t private, but it’s a nice little spot to have available.
  • You get plenty of natural light in the living area, as well as the bedroom.
  • There is a washing machine and a dryer on the property, which is great.
  • It’s only a half-hour transit ride to the center of Brussels.
