The interior is filled with natural light and comfortable furniture. There is a large living room and a sizeable, fully equipped kitchen.

This apartment is situated on Rue Josaphat, in an area that is close to the centre of Brussels. This property is ideal for professionals and students, as it is close to the European Institutions and Commission, and it is located in one of Brussels's most traditionally Belgian neighbourhoods. Foodies note that this is also one of the top areas for dining out! The Université Saint-Louis is a pleasant 10-minute walk from the apartment, while the Translation Tower is also within walking distance.

What we liked the most

  • The size of the rooms is a really great aspect of this apartment, especially if it is just for one person.
  • The separate bathroom is downstairs and is incredibly spacious.
  • The kitchen is long and has a dining area with a view out onto the garden from the window.
  • The location, St. Josse, is fantastic for professionals and students alike.
  • The universities are easily accessible and the European Institutions and Commission are around 20 minutes from the apartment.
  • Night buses mean that you can enjoy the Belgian nightlife at its best.
  • The windows offer good views, one of the garden and one of the street, they also allow for a great deal of light in the apartment.
  • The living and sleeping area are in the same room, yet it is a large space and the way in which it has been laid out makes it seem entirely distinct.

Things to keep in mind

  • In the bedroom the bed size is double. There is also a large, comfortable sofa in the room and it is fairly spacious with a good view of the street from the window.
  • The kitchen is quite roomy although there is no oven. The gas stove appears modern however and should fulfill most cooking requirements!
  • There is no washer or dryer available, but there are launderettes nearby.
