The entrance to this 2-bedroom apartment on Chaussée de Saint-Job has a large entrance hall where you can easily store a bike. The apartment is located up a flight of stairs, and at the top is a door to a quiet shared terrace, where you can barbecue and dine. From the terrace, you can access the laundry room, which has extra storage space. The sunny open-plan living and dining room is spacious with two sofas, a TV, an office area with a desk and chair, and a 4-seat table. The U-shaped kitchen is modern, fully equipped, and has a dishwasher. It also has a window overlooking the terrace.

Uccle is located south of downtown Brussels. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood with relaxing green spaces, including Sauvagère Park, which is a 20-minute walk. The larger Bois de la Cambre is 25 minutes away - there's a golf club academy and training facility. There are a few historical sites to discover, and you’re only a 15-minute walk from the Royal Meteorological Institute and the observatory. Shopping is easy. There is an organic market just 2 minutes away and a small grocery store across the street. If you enjoy a workout, then you can join the Studio Fitness health club just 7 minutes from your new home.

What we liked the most

  • Although the toilet is separate, it’s great to have an ensuite bathroom.
  • Major rooms are spacious, sunny and shared, and the terrace is a great place to entertain and have a barbecue.
  • The apartment is very close to the bus, tram and railway stations, so it’s easy to get downtown.
  • There are large and small green spaces in the neighborhood.
