You'll get stunning views over Brussels from this 5th floor studio apartment in Etterbeek. The 35 m² property is bright and airy, with lots of storage to ensure it doesn't feel cluttered. There is a dining table to seat 4 in the bay window, and the bed converts to a sofa to help save space. The kitchen is compact but has everything you'll need to cook, including an oven, and also has a big breakfast bar / worksurface, separating it from the rest of the apartment.
You'll be living in a fantastic location, right next to one of Brussels' most beloved parks, which as well as its large lawns and tree lines paths, has 4 museums, housed in spectacular buildings. Shopping and restaurants are plentiful on nearby Avenue des Celtes, and you can walk to the European Quarter in just a few minutes. Place Jourdan, a square popular with tourist and locals is nearby too, and festivals, markets and fairs are regularly held here.
What we liked the most
- The views from here are stunning, you can see for kilometres over south and west Brussels.
- Although the building is on a busy road, the studio is to the rear of the building, so won't be affected by the street noise.
- There's no excuses for missing that morning jog, with Parc du Cinquanteaire just across the street!
- The location is ideal for anybody working in the European Quarter, with the European Parliament, Commission, and other institutions within a 15-20 minute walk.
