Previously a little known working-class neighbourhood, Stoneybatter has recently become a centre of art and culture, populated by trendy young professionals and full of yoga studios, independent restaurants and artisanal bars alongside traditional pubs with live folk music and greasy-spoon style cafes.
What we liked the most
- Everything has been newly installed so the flat feels modern and clean.
- With an oven as well as a stove and microwave, you can cook whatever you wish.
- There is a dryer available so you will not have to share your space with damp clothes.
- The property is only 20 minutes from Phoenix Park, western Europe’s largest city park, full of woodland to be explored and deer to be admired.
- This location is ideal for those looking for an interesting art and culture scene at a cheaper price than that of central Dublin.
Things to keep in mind
- The washing machine and dryer are located in the common laundry room but this is the perfect opportunity to make friends with your neighbours.
