Authentic, just outside the city, and very affordable. Some might even say it’s a bargain.

There’s some real tapas in Bellas. But why does my caña (small glass of beer) come with a slice of tortilla?
One legend (of many) puts it down to some thrifty barkeepers. They discovered that if they covered cheap wine with a plate of pungent cheese, then their patrons, in a state of odoriferous confusion, wouldn’t notice how bad the vino was. Sneaky.

Getting to and from the airport...
You can take a taxi from Madrid Barajas International Airport. It will cost you roughly €30 and takes about 20 minutes.
