Spotahome's opinion
This apartment with rooms for rent in the heart of Realejo, the old Jewish Quarter of Granada, is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of a lively city. Located on the top floor of a traditional building, almost hidden from view in a quaint narrow street, the apartment makes the best use of those typically Spanish interior patios to provide lots of natural light and fresh air to every room. The equipped kitchen and living room with TV and comfortable sofas will make you feel right at home, and the covered terrace overlooking Calle San Diego is amazing: it's like an outdoor living and dining room that you won't get enough of.
Despite the quietness of the immediate surroundings, the apartment is actually very close to the bustle of the city. All you need to do is go around the corner to find not only schools and parks, but also lots of trendy shops, cafés and tapas bars. El Corte Inglés, the department store, is only two minutes away; the bustling central area around the Cathedral is at the distance of a mere 10-minute walk; and the Alhambra at little over 20 minutes.
What we liked the most
- The terrace is the apartment's crown jewel. It's like having an outdoor living and dining room!
- The location is excellent: close to the beating heart of Granada, and yet in a very quiet and laid-back residential area.
- El Corte Inglés, a large department store, is literally around the corner, two minutes away. Shopping for no matter what will be a breeze.

- The Granada Metro is scheduled to begin commercial operations in July 2017, and the closest station is only a 10-minute stroll away.
- The train station is across town, but can be easily reached by bus in around 15 minutes; even if you decided to walk, it won't take more than 30 minutes.
