This cute studio apartment to rent on Rue de Flandre is on the 2nd floor in a student residence hall. It’s an ideal apartment for postgraduates. It’s a very practical studio. The front door opens into a little kitchenette with the basics of a stove hub, fridge, microwave and sink. There is a small bathroom with a shower stall. The main room has a bright window and is furnished with a sofa bed, coffee table, TV stand, shelving and a wardrobe. There is also a 2-seat table that can double as your desk. Parking and Wi-Fi are provided at an extra cost, and you can use the building laundry facility for an added fee, as well.
Wazemmes neighborhood isn’t the city center, but it might as well be. You’re new home is only 5 minutes away from the heart of downtown Lille. You’re close to many of the cities most famous tourist sites. There is a bakery and supermarket just up the street, and a bounty of restaurants and nightclubs in the area. You’re also in the perfect location if you’re attending the nearby Lille Catholic University. The University of Lille’s Faculty of Legal, Political, and Social Sciences is a 20-minute walk away.
What we liked the most
- You’re close to two major universities and a few other schools.
- Extra fees apply, but the building does have WiFi, parking, and laundry facilities.
- The window provides a lot of natural light.
- There is a supermarket down the street.
Things to keep in mind
- There are no laundry facilities in the studio.
- The bed is a sofa bed.
