Rooms are available to rent in a 107m², 4-bedroom apartment in Villeurbanne in Lyon. The apartment is bright and spacious and feels warm and welcoming. It is also very well-equipped: with a table in the kitchen as well as another dining table, you can enjoy meals with flatmates rather than eating in your bedroom or even host dinner parties.

Villeurbanne is a commune situated northeast of Lyon city-centre. It is a mainly residential area with a friendly atmosphere and all the necessary amenities. The property is a 20-minute walk from a Lidl, for budget shopping, and is also close to the Canal de Jonage, a great place to go for a morning jog or a sunny afternoon stroll.

What we liked the most

  • The balcony, complete with table and chairs, is a lovely place to eat breakfast on a sunny morning
  • Parking is available with the property, ideal if you prefer not to use public transport.
  • A dishwasher is an added luxury, saving you time on washing up.
  • There is a cosy living-room with plenty of seating, perfect for relaxing in front of the flat-screen TV.
  • This location is fantastic for students as Villeurbanne is home to many universities including the Claude Bernard University, CPE Lyon, and INSA de Lyon.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is only parking for 1 of the tenants but given the property's proximity to the public transport, it is unlikely that you will all have cars.
