This cosy studio apartment is actually a mini-duplex, with a kitchen and shower in the downstairs part, and the bedroom and living area upstairs. The interior facing apartment has windows looking to the courtyard of the building, making this peaceful spot ideal for a student who needs quiet, or a professional wanting peace after a busy day. The studio is basic but comfortable, and has everything you'll need to feel at home.
The location is ideal, in an open and attractive area, close to the river Saône. The nearby Metro is on line D, which can bring a student directly to class at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, and also passes close to Université Lumiere Lyon 2 – so is ideal for students. This is a bustling area, full of local shops and restaurants to explore.
What we liked the most
- The attractive original beams in the ceiling upstairs are lovely – just mind your head!
- The interior-facing aspect of the property means it will be very clam and peaceful.
- Relaxing walks along the river are just a couple of minutes away.
- You can find some intriguing cuisine nearby. As well as the usual French offerings, within a few minute's walk are Indian, Italian, Mexican, Spanish, Cambodian and Turkish restaurants. A great place to expand your palette.
