A studio apartment is available to rent in Saint Paul, part of the Vieux Lyon neighbourhood. In keeping with its charming surroundings, this building is historic, and therefore the apartment has features including wooden beams and arched ceilings. The property consists of one main room which has a double sofa bed, and a partially equipped kitchen corner with a breakfast bar.
You will be living on Rue Saint Paul, just on the edge of Vieux Lyon and the Fourvière Hill neighbourhood. Vieux Lyon is absolutely stunning; with narrow, cobblestone streets, traboules and artisan shops, this might be one of Lyon's best places to live. You will be living in the Saint Paul area, which is just next to all of the action, but also a bit more peaceful. The closest metro station is Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel, just across the river in the equally popular 1st arrondissement.
What we liked the most
- The view from the window is spectacular. You can see the Quai de Saône and the river.
- There is quite a lot of natural light in this apartment, apart from in the bathroom.
- The apartment has a washing machine with a dryer function.
- The bathroom has a bathtub which also works as a shower.
- You will be living on the edge of the charming Vieux Lyon area, and just a short walk from Terreaux, the Croix-Rousse and the Presqu'île.
- The apartment is just next to the Quai de Saône, where people love to spend sunny evenings or go jogging.
Things to keep in mind
- This apartment is on the 5th floor of a building without an elevator, this is normal in such a historic building.
- There is no oven, but there is an electric stove and a microwave.
