This charming 1-bedroom studio apartment on Montée du Gourguillon, Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) is full of cozy character. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stove top, microwave and kettle. The studio's living area has beautiful furniture including antique couch, dining table, TV and desk. The double bed is built up above the living area and is accessible by stairs. The bathroom makes good use of space and has a bath, shower and modern sink and cabinets.
This apartment is situated in the oldest and most amazing part of the city Lyon. There are bars, galleries and supermarkets nearby and the Vieux Lyon metro station is within 5 minutes walk. Nearby is the beautiful St Jean Cathédrale and other beautiful sights. Just one block away is the river and nearby are plenty of parks and green spaces.
What we liked the most
- The plush bed is well lit by a small lamp and has a small cubby hole to keep things needed while in bed.
- Underneath the bed is storage space including a clothing rail for hanging clothes and space for cleaning equipment like vacuum and mop.
- The windows are big and light up the apartment really well, making it feel more spacious.
- The furniture is very charming with its antique style and unique prints.
- The apartment is decorated with lovely artwork and small pot plants.
- The bathroom is so modern, and it has a beautiful slate stone wall.
- The Metro stops just 3 minutes away to take you to other parts of the city.
Things to keep in mind
- This is a small apartment, but it makes great use of the space it has.
- There's no oven in the kitchen but it does have a stove top and a microwave.
