This 2-bedroom apartment for rent has colourful walls, elegant wall tiling, and beautiful archways that make you feel like you are in a cosy country house, while in the heart of a big city. To take advantage of all the space, you have beds with hidden storage, extra shelving in the kitchen, and even a stylish, fold-out dining table. During those hot summer months, you can switch on the AC; but when the weather is perfect, you can simply step out onto the balcony.
The apartment is located in La Latina, in the centre of Madrid. In the middle of 3 different metro stations and less than a 5-minute walk to the world-famous El Rastro flea market, the location couldn't get any better. This neighbourhood is known for having a vibrant atmosphere, and you will have the challenge of trying all the neighbourhood tapas bars and choosing your favourite.
What we liked the most
- There is extra storage space underneath both beds, which will help keep your room tidy.
- The apartment has beautiful art pieces, but also comes with modern amenities such as a TV, a washing machine, and AC.
- The bathroom is very modern with a gorgeous sink and colourful bathroom tiles; the shower is huge too!
- Every Sunday, you can do some bargain shopping at the El Rastro flea market, only minutes from your house.
- You are between 3 different metro stations, making it easy to get to other parts of Madrid.
Things to keep in mind
- There is no elevator in the building, but with the daily walk-up there's no need to sign up for the gym!
