This is a cool and classy 1-bedroom apartment for rent in Fuente del Berro, Madrid, just east of the gorgeous Retiro Park.
The apartment has wooden floors throughout, and opens into the kitchen, which is fully equipped with an oven, an electric stove, a dishwasher and washing machine, and a lot of counter space for food storage and preparation - there is also a breakfast bar! A large living room follows, with a dining table and chairs, a sofa and also a TV installed. The dining area also has a hidden, built-in wardrobe for extra storage. The bathroom is nicely tiled and also has a walk-in shower cubicle with a radiator for towels. The bathroom also has a nice sink space, mirror and storage.
Finally, the bedroom is a cosy space with a big double bed, a small exterior window and plenty of storage space, including a 3-door built-in wardrobe and some chests of drawers.
The apartment lies close to Goya - one of Madrid's most prestigious shopping districts, with lots of shopping and bar options - but be reminded, Goya is an up-market region so prices do reflect that!
What we liked the most
- The kitchen is very big considering this is a 2-person apartment!
- The living room has a built-in wardrobe for extra storage, without getting in the way.
- You are very close to Goya, one of Madrid's most prestigious shopping areas.
- Retiro Park is about 20 minutes away on foot - it is one of the highlights of Madrid.
- Our Homechecker loved the property - he said so himself!
