If you want to be in the heart of Madrid, this 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Plaza de España is perfect. The bedroom and the open-plan dining and living room have huge windows that let in lots of light. The circular dining table is small, but seats four, which is perfect if you have a couple of guests over for a meal. The furnishings are modern, and although there is only a countertop oven and two stovetop burners, you’ll want for little in the sleek kitchen.
If you’re going to live anywhere in Madrid, Centro is one of the best locations. It’s the oldest part of the city, and just around every corner there are little pieces of history waiting to be discovered. Of course, around some corners there are big pieces, like the 2000-room Royal Palace of Madrid. You’re only an 8-minute walk from the front door, and practically living on the grounds of the Royal Sabatini Gardens. Aside from the rich history of the area, you’ll also come across gorgeous little cafés, as well as three nearby theaters to choose from for a night of entertainment.
