Honestly, we love this apartment. We think you will too. It's 1-bedroom, it's for rent, and it's in Lavapiés, one of the edgiest barrios in Madrid.
It's also cute as a button. And with lots of big windows, you can soak up the sunshine. With Andalusian fans decorating the walls, there's a very Spanish vibe about the place. Everything is new, everything is clean, everything is modern. The living room is a winner: a comfy wide-open space for chilling in.
You get a TV, an equipped kitchen, a cool-as sofa, and AC. The AC will save your summer. Summers in Madrid are hotter than a heatwave on a hot day in Hawaii.
Lavapiés is one of Madrid's cultural lodestones. It's a meeting ground for urbanites on the run from gentrification. You're near the city centre, the Rastro Market, and La Reina Sofía art museum.
What we liked the most
- Lots and lots of lovely sunlight and big windows and AC means you WIN.
- There is a really nice vibe in the apartment.
- It's clean, new, and modern.
- Lovely big double bed and total silence in the bedroom.
- The building has an elevator. That is rare in central Madrid.
- The location means you are close to the action.
Things to keep in mind
- The AC is in the living room, not the bedroom.
