This room is available to rent in a 2.bedroom apartment shared with the live-in landlady. The apartment has a open-plan kitchen, living area, with a sofa, large fridge freezer, stove, and plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a small balcony overlooking the street.
The apartment is on a quiet, narrow, very typically Spanish looking street in Lavapiés. This is a great location; the streets nearby are filled with small bars and cafes, and this is where some of the best food in the city can be found, in the unassuming little restaurants nearby. You will be just a short walk from the centre of the city in Sol, and less than 15 minutes' walk from the stunning Retiro park.
What we liked the most
- This is a really fantastic location, very central and surrounded by things to see and do.
- Transport links nearby are great.
- The balcony looks onto a lovely, typical Spanish street.
- This is a compact apartment, and still finds room for a washing machine, saving you long trips to the launderette.
Things to keep in mind
- This apartment does not have a full-size oven. However, it has a stove and a small countertop electric oven.
- A small dog lives in the apartment.
