Rooms are available in this apartment next to the vast Parque del Cerro del Tio Pio, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and fabulous views over Madrid. The apartment itself has a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room with courtyard views. The kitchen has an oven and microwave, so you can easily cook up a meal. The comfortable sofa and chairs are super for curling up to watch TV or get to know your flat-mates. This is an ideal location if you like to live in a quiet, residential area that's close to central Madrid. In 20 minutes you'll reach Atocha station and famous Retiro park.
Football fans are in for a treat because this district is home to Rayo Vallecano. From your new home you can walk to the Estadio de Vallecas where they play within 13 minutes. You are also living on the edge of the famous Tio Pio park - an ideal spot for seeing Madrid's landmarks or having a picnic. A 5-minute walk to Avenida de la Albufera is where you'll find restaurants, shops, banks, Carrefour supermarket, the metro station and bus stops.
What we liked the most
- It's absolutely heavenly to have the Tio Pio park on the doorstep.
- Hearing the fans head to the stadium to support Rayo is energizing.
- It's lovely to have so many shops and restaurants within 5 minutes.
Things to keep in mind
- It will be very busy on match days.
- There is 1 bathroom for 4 rooms.
- It is on the 2nd floor without a lift.
