This cosy but fully equipped studio apartment is available for rent on Calle Buenavista in Lavapiés. The apartment has a spacious living area with a sofa and dining table, plus a wall-mounted TV. Above this is a mezzanine level bedroom, with a double bed. On the lower lever you can also find a rack for your clothing. The kitchen is nicely finished, with a wooden veneer counter-top, and there is also a full bathroom with a shower.
Lavapiés is Madrid's up-and-coming neighbourhood; still one of the cheaper areas to live in the city, but very trendy. There will nearly always be an event happening nearby, and when there isn't there are a plethora of cool bars, clubs and restaurants to visit. Or there's always the bohemian shopping, and the El Rastro market in La Latina, a short walk away.
What we liked the most
- You will have AC, a must in Madrid's hot summers.
- The apartment is cosy but well equipped: how many studios include a 4-seater dining table?
- You will be living just footsteps from the metro station, so getting around the city will be easy.
- Lavapiés is a vibrant area, there will always be something for you to see or do.

- The washing machine is located in a common laundry room for the building.
