There is a 24 m² apartment available to rent in a traditional building for this part of the city with a large central patio. The apartment is interior, and is furnished with a double bed and a table for 2 that can also be used as a desk. There is small but functional kitchen with plenty of cabinets and a blue-tiled full bathroom. There is also a large wardrobe, perfect for your clothes and storage.
On Calle del Sombrerte, the apartment is right around the corner from the line 3 Lavapiés Metro stop in the heart of the multicultural Lavapiés district. Calle de Lavapiés is perfect Indian food lovers, lined with plenty to choose from. There are many more restaurants, as well as the Mercado de San Fernando and Teatro Valle-Inclán, a short walk away from the apartment.
What we liked the most
- There is a ceiling fan, which you will be thankful for during the summer.
- There is a large wardrobe for storage.
- The kitchen is small but equipped, including a large refrigerator and washing machine.
- The bathroom is a cheerful blue and has plenty of shelving units.
- You are in the heart of Lavapiés, just a few minutes' walk to the metro stop.
- There is a Carrefour Market nearby as well as a store for vegans, Planeta Vegano.
Things to keep in mind
- You will have to contact a service provider to install and activate Wi-Fi.
- There is no oven, but there is a stove and microwave.
