This contemporary 1-bedroom apartment apartment is available to rent on Via Panfilo Castaldi. The apartment comprises an open plan living room and kitchen area, and a big bedroom with an en-suite bathrom. The fittings and furnishings throughout are modern and new, and the apartment is on the interior of an attractive building, with a typically Milanese courtyard.

This is a great area in which to live, just around the corner from the major shopping street, Corso Buenos Aires. You'll never be stuck for somewhere to buy either the latest must-haves, or your day-to-day necessities. There are excellent public transport connections nearby, which is ideal for commuters. And to top it off, you'll be living just a short walk from one of the city's major barks, the beautiful Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli.

What we liked the most

  • There's a big desk in the bedroom, so it can double as a study.
  • You'll be grateful for the AC – in both rooms – during Milan's hot summer months.
  • The local area is packed with restaurants, offering cuisine from Sweden to India.
  • Milan's main cultural offering these days may be fashion, but it has plenty more besides. In the nearby park there are palaces, museums, and an impressive planetarium.
