A wonderful 1-bedroom duplex apartment is available to rent on Via Altaguardia in Milan's Porta Romana neighbourhood. Downstairs there is a very ample living and dining room with tiled floors, a compact kitchen with a gas stove, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Up the spiral staircase is a lovely hideaway of a bedroom, with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Peaceful!
The location is perfect—very close to the city centre as well as the Bocconi University. There's also a direct tram link to the University of Milan. Plus, there are metro and tram stops within just a few minutes' walk. The surrounding streets have everything you could want in terms of supermarkets, gyms, bars and restaurants.
What we liked the most
- The bedroom looks really relaxing, and it's nice and big. We also love the spiral staircase and wooden beams.
- We love the amount of space in the living room. Perfect for hosting friends!
- There is air conditioning, perfect for Milan's humid summers.
- You'll be living in a really handy and central location, with a supermarket and gym within a block.
- There are excellent links to Milan's universities.
Things to keep in mind
- There is a steep staircase up to the bedroom.
