(pt) San Pablo Your local community
Overview
San Pablo: a neighbourhood built in a panic.
In the 1960s, a flash flood struck Seville.
A community had to be rebuilt. Locals and factory workers needed homes.
5 years later, the Polígono de San Pablo was complete. With plazas, churches and health centres, it was hard to remember a time before it existed.
To this day, San Pablo is a tight-knit community. Your neighbours ask about your family. They want to know how your day is going.
Do you want to belong somewhere?
You should consider San Pablo.
What can I do here?
Plazas, plazas, and more plazas. Lucky you. Seriously. Come summer, it’s where the action is.
San Pablo is tranquil and central. It’s your base for exploring Seville. The historical Santa Cruz district and the Nervión shopping areas are both nearby.
Participate in daily barrio life. Spend the afternoon in one of the local plazas. Get to get to know your neighbours.
Go find the murals decorating the streets of San Pablo. Gorgeous technicolour dreams draping the facades and fences. There are more than 30. All are painted by international artists of renown.
Fun fact:
The streets of San Pablo are named after famous Sevillanos or Spaniards:
