How about a taste of luxury?
This 2-bedroom apartment for rent is positively sumptuous, and designed with absolute care. The age of the building can be seen in the old brickwork and wooden roof beams, but is contrasted by contemporary furnishings and artwork. There is beautiful, soft lighting throughout, and, importantly, AC. You will have 2 full bathrooms also, and a compact, but modern and well equipped kitchen.
Centro Storico. This is the place to experience the Rome that people dream of. The apartment is on Via di Ripetta in the northern part of the district, sandwiched between the Tiber and Villa Borghese. You'll be moments from many of the most famous sights of the eternal city.
The Spanish Steps are less than 10 minutes away.
The Fountain of Neptune is even closer.
And just when you thought you'd never come back down to earth, you walk past the Foot Locker on Via del Corso. Sure, the area's historic, but there's plenty for daily life nearby too.
What we liked the most
- We love the design of this apartment; the careful contrast between the old and new.
- You'll be grateful for the AC during Rome's sweltering summer months.
- Rome's most popular and beloved park, Villa Borghese, is just a few minute's walk away. Where better to relax after a hard day's sightseeing. (Of course, there's plenty of sights to see in the park, too...)
Things to keep in mind
- Although there are 2 "bedrooms" in the apartment, the whole layout is open plan. Because of this, it is more suitable to families or close friends.
