This 1-bedroom apartment is available to rent on Via di Sant'Andrea delle Fratte, in the very heart of the city. The apartment is in a beautiful 18th century building, but has a modernised interior, which retains its classical elegance. High ceilings and tall, bright windows are typical of these homes, and the rooms still have the original wooden double doors. Fully furnished and equipped, this is a comfortable, tasteful home, ideal for a couple starting out in the city.
The apartment is located in the heart of the city. This is the Rome of romantic movies and dreams of La Dolce Vita. Romance, beauty, history and culture are to be found around every corner. But modern life hasn't left the area behind. You'll be minutes from some of the best shopping in Rome, and never have to travel far for those last-minute necessities. There's a Coop supermarket just around the corner, and if you want to eat out, you'd better be good at making decisions, because there are hundreds of places to choose from.
What we liked the most
- From the window in the living room, you can see Piazza di Spagna!
- In the living room there is a sofa-bed, ideal for when guests visit.
- We love the high ceilings and tall windows, the apartment feels so airy and welcoming. Combined with the AC, this will make the sweltering Roman summer much more manageable.
- Nick, our homechecker, tells us that Piazza Barberini is home to the best cinema in the city. It's a modern multiplex in a beautifully ornate old building. And, in addition to the latest blockbusters it screens live opera. Could it be any more Italian?
- Draw a circle around the apartment, with a radius of a 5-minute walk. What's in it?
