Soaring over the city in a sky-palace.
This apartment keeps it simple. The decor is attractive, but basic. Lots of white and clean lines. It's functional and comfortable. Because this apartment makes a statement, but it's not about the interior.
Step out onto the terrace to see where it's at. Think about hosting a barbecue out there, the sun setting over the cityscape. Nice, right?
Coming back down to ground level, and you're in one of our favourite parts of Rome. Trastevere is Italian for nightlife. (It's not really, but you see what we're getting at.) Not the clubbing kind though. This is the nightlife of quaint trattoria, copious vino, and excellent home-cooked food. It's the nightlife of midnight strolls down cobblestone streets, hand in hand.
Head in the clouds, but feet firmly planted on the ground. Nice.
What we liked the most
- From the terrace you get incredible views across the river and the rooftops of the city.
- The walls are lined with loads of windows. Even when you're inside you'll feel like you're outside!
- There's some lovely riverside restaurants nearby.
- It's only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Trastevere's old town, one of the most picturesque and beloved areas of the city.
