This quiet 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Vicolo delle Grotte is on the 1st floor. It’s a cozy spot right in the thick of historical Rome. This interior apartment has wood floors and tall windows facing the courtyard. The combined living and dining area is small, but comfy with a 2-seat table, sofa, and TV. The double bedroom has a sliding door and another TV, as well as a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower cabinet. The kitchen occupies its own space. It has granite counters and a gas stove. It’s not a huge room, but it will serve your purposes.
With cobblestone streets and narrow alleys, living in Centro Storico can seem otherworldly. There is a magical element to this neighborhood. Campo de' Fiori market is just down the street from your new home. The Tiber River is a block away. The Pantheon is a 10-minute walk away. It’s a trip through time, but with all the modern conveniences. Cafés and trattorias are everywhere. There are nearby grocery stores when you need items other than fresh produce. There are shops and boutiques, as well as theaters and cinemas. This neighborhood takes good care of you.
What we liked the most
- It’s an interior apartment, so fairly quiet in an otherwise bustling neighborhood.
- You’ll get your exercise walking, but there’s a gym down the street when you want more.
- There is a laundry service, Alvin Star, less than 15 minutes away.
- You’ll never run out of restaurants to visit!
