This 55 m² 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via di San Francesco di Sales in Trastevere exudes elegance. It is spacious, gorgeous and bright, and best of all, it comes with a private terrace! Little touches like the porthole windows offer a touch of quirkiness, while something as simple as a beautiful antique wardrobe sets off the quality of the apartment.

Best of all, the apartment has a large, private terrace, peaceful, serene, surrounded by greenery, and bathed in sunshine.

This is a beautiful area of the city, just moments from a stroll along the banks of the Tiber. Parco Gianicolo is behind the apartment building, and nearby you can find Orto Botanico botanical gardens too. The streets around the apartment are more residential but it just a short walk away to the stunning, cafe lined streets surrounding Basilica di Santa Maria.

What we liked the most

  • The bedroom is just gorgeous. We love the floor to ceiling windows opening out to the peaceful terrace.
  • Look at that terrace. Look at it. It could be yours... Think about it...
  • Take a wander down Via dell Scala to get a proper idea of the beauty of this area. You probably won't want to leave.
  • And lest we forget; the Tiber is just moments away. What better way to spend a hot supper day that strolling in the shade along the banks of the river?

Things to keep in mind

  • The kitchen is basic, but fully functional, and includes a gas stove.
