This is a lovely and spacious apartment located in a beautiful building on the 2nd floor. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a spacious kitchen and a living room which could be turned into an extra bedroom if you wish. The kitchen more than enough space for one person or a couple and it's fully equipped so you will have everything you need from the stove to the Italian style coffee pot. The living room is spacious, too, and lots of natural light enters in from the windows that face the interior courtyard. It can also be used as an extra bedroom as it has a sofa bed and a wardrobe or if you want to have a nice place for your guests to stay. The rest of the apartment is nicely decorated with a huge and luxurious double bed with bed linens included and a bathroom with a large shower. Overall, this would be a lovely and completely relaxing apartment for you to call home during your stay in the Eternal City.
If you want to live in one of the most beautiful and centrally located neighborhoods in Rome, this is your chance. Trastavere is a neighborhood that is filled with historical buildings, churches, squares and palaces and it's situated just across the Tiber River. On Via di Fienaroli, you will be in a residential area but you will have plenty of opportunities to try authentic Italian cuisine during your stay in Rome at nearby places such as Impiccetta and Ai marmi off the main street Via di Trastavere, which is known for its mouth watering wood oven pizzas. And of course, there are several shops, bars, a bookstore and other amenities around but you will also find more options across the river or if you catch a tram.
What we liked the most
- The entrance hall of the apartment has several huge bookshelves and some extra storage which is a huge advantage in a small apartment.
- You can see beautiful hardwood floors and wooden beamed ceilings that add warmth and a rustic feel to the bedroom.
- In the kitchen you will find a coffee maker to make Italian coffee but if you prefer tea there is a shelf lined with an adorable tea pot and several tea cups!
- The area is very quiet and residential but it also offers lots of opportunities to socialize and enjoy fine dining in its many bars and restaurants.
