When you walk into the front door of this 2-level 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Rasella, you’ll feel right at home. It’s a bright space with natural light shining in from the window. The space isn’t huge, but it has tile floors, which are common in Mediterranean countries, and exposed wood beams give it a rustic charm. The kitchenette has 2 gas burners and a microwave oven. It’s also fully equipped. The rest of the first floor space is furnished with a sofa bed, a 2-seat dining table and a wall-mounted TV. There is also a small bathroom with a shower stall. Upstairs, you’ll find the bedroom, which also has a small water closet. The ceiling is slanted, and there is a window overlooking the living area. It receives natural light from the downstairs window, which should make sleeping-in very easy.
If you've always dreamt of living in the heart of Rome, this is your chance. Centro Storico pulses with history and beats with energy. You’ll have to get used to tourists living here, because Trevi Fountain and Piazza Barberini are just 4 minutes from your door. Also, the neighborhood is teeming with historical sights. Don’t worry, finding everything to meet your day-to-day needs is a breeze. Cafés and restaurants are everywhere, and you’ll discover wonderful shops and boutiques too. When you feel like dining in your new home, you can pick up groceries at the supermarket, which is 10 minutes away. You’re also within a 5-minute walk from a jazz club, theater and art gallery. When you’re looking for peace and quiet, the Garden of Sant'Andrea al Quirinale is 7 minutes down the road.
What we liked the most
- The upstairs bedroom is spacious and comfortable, and there is a toilet room so that you don’t have to go up and down the stairs when you’re half awake.
- Every major popular sight you can think of is easily accessible from this location.
- Restaurants and cafés are abundant and the Hard Rock Café is 10 minutes away.
- You’ll discover a few small grocery markets closer to home than the supermarket.
