Spotahome's opinion
Rooms are available to rent in this spacious 3-bedroom apartment shared with the live-in landlord. The living room has AC, which is great in the hot Roman summer, and also has a sofa and a large screen TV, and also a balcony that overlooks the peaceful garden. The kitchen has unique decor, with each cupboard painted in Pop-Art style. The kitchen is also very spacious, and has a dining table, a gas stove and an electric oven, and lots of food preparation and storage space. The bathroom has a cubicle shower, a washbasin, a toilet, and a bidet. There is an elevator in the building.
You will be living in a quiet and green tree-lined suburb, but within a short walk of Metro and train stations that will quickly take you to the city centre, and lots of bus routes. Nearby there is an area with lots of shops, restaurants and bars, so you don't always need to head into the city for nightlife. There are also several small parks. A 20-minute walk can bring you to the Parco delle Valli, which follows the route of the Aniene river. Follow this river to where it joins the Tiber, and you will be on the edge of the very large Villa Ada Savoia Park, which has peaceful walks, ponds, and even live music festivals.
What we liked the most
- We love the unique decor in the kitchen!
- The whole apartment is really bright and spacious.
- You will be living in a quiet, residential area, but train or Metro services into the city are just a short walk.
- There is an area with lots of shops, bars and restaurants about a 15-minute walk away on the streets around Via Conca d'Oro.
