Spotahome's opinion
The rooms to rent in this 5-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor on Via Brecht Bertold are very affordable. Turning right from the entrance into the corridor, you’ll find the first of two shared bathrooms. Both have shower stalls and ample cabinet space, although the second bathroom is much larger, and it also houses a washing machine. Around the corner, in another long hallway, is a huge built-in wardrobe and a door to the common shared areas. The spacious fully-equipped kitchen is furnished with a 3-seat table and has a door leading to a large balcony that is also furnished with a table and chairs, as well as a sofa.
Rinnovamento is a quiet neighborhood with lots of green space, but it’s also very well connected to the rest of Rome by bus. To the north of your apartment is the sprawling Tenuta di Tormarancia Park. With a 4-minute walk south, you’ll reach Forte Ardeatino Park and, located on the opposide side of it, Shopping Center I Granai. This mall has a supermarket, but there is another one that’s just 3 minutes up the road. There aren’t a lot of restaurants around, but there is a pizzeria less than 15 minutes away, right next to a gym and a pool hall.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is affordable and spacious, with a very large kitchen and, best of all, it has a balcony where you can relax on the sofa or eat lunch or dinner.
- There is a pizzeria nearby, but not a lot of other restaurants, so it's a good thing that you're close to two supermarkets.
- If you like a tranquil neighborhood, this one—with 2 large parks—is perfect.
- Buses are just a few steps from your front door.

Transportation
- You’ll need to catch a bus to get to the subway. The quickest ride is to the Marconi station, which serves lines MEB and MEB1.
- While there is a closer one, you might prefer the Grotta Perfetta/Moliere bus stop, which offers multiple day buses, as well as one night bus.
- You can get to the Roma Ostiense railway station, with operates multiple services, with a 30-minute bus ride. The EUR Magliana station is a little bit closer, but it only serves the RL line.
