Spotahome's opinion
The rooms to rent in this 2nd floor 4-bedroom apartment on Via Laura Mantegazza will perfectly suit women. The apartment opens into a large hall, which is furnished with a leather sofa, as well as individual shoe racks for the four tenants. Just off of the hall, to the left, is the fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a wooden 3-seat table where you can sit down for a meal. Back in the hallway is a pantry, where you’ll find the fridge, as well as ample food storage space. In a second large vestibule, there is space to dry your laundry, and you’ll also find a small bathroom with a shower stall in this area. Down the corridor with the bedrooms is a larger bathroom with a tub.
Monteverde is a beautiful residential neighborhood, and it’s definitely off the beaten track, which means you get a real feel for the local culture living here. It’s also a great area if you are a medical student doing an internship, or if you work in the health profession, because there are four hospitals and a clinic within a 10-minute walk. For those who enjoy working out, there is a fitness center just 6 minutes away. As for your everyday needs, you’ll find a supermarket and a bank 2 minutes from your door, and when you’re feeling up to it, there are a dozen restaurants, as well as a winery and cocktail bar nearby.
What we liked the most
- The apartment has lots of space, there are two bathrooms, and home cooks will love the gas stove!
- Public transportation is really close, so it’s easy to get around to anywhere you want to go in Rome.
- If you work in the medical field, you’ll love that this apartment is close to four hospitals.
- You’ll find a fitness center just 6 minutes away from your apartment.

- The Dunant bus stop is 1 minute away. However, a 2-minute walk gets you to the Gianicolense/S.V. De Paoli stop with multiple day and night routes.
- The Gianicolense/Ponte Bianco tram stop, which serves line 8, is also just a 2-minute walk away.
- A 15-minute bus ride will get you to the Piramide metro station on lines MEB and MEB1.
