Spotahome's opinion
The room to rent in this 1st floor 2-bedroom apartment on Via Cesena is a great spot to start and end your day. At the front door is a hallway where you can hang your coat. Directly in front of the door is the open-plan common area. It’s furnished with a 4-seat table, TV, and sofa, and it’s a comfy spot to entertain and socialize. The fully-equipped kitchen is also located in this space. It’s modern with ample cupboard space to store food. The shared area does get some light from a window near the kitchen. Down the hall to the left is the shared bathroom. It’s modern and has a window, as well as a shower cabinet. Better still, a washing machine is located here.
Old meets new in San Giovanni. Streets are wide and buildings tend to be modern. Occasionally, you’ll cross paths with structures left over from former times. Lateranense Palace is a 10-minute walk away. And so is the San Giovanni Basilica. Your apartment is close to the Golden Theater. The Orione Theater is down the street, along with numerous restaurants. There is plenty to occupy your time in this neighborhood. You can work up a sweat at Dancing Zanussi, or try your luck at the local Bingo Hall. They’re both just several minutes from your new home.

What we liked the most
- The apartment is spacious and has an incredible backyard patio and lawn.
- Want to lose yourself in a book? The Nelson Mandela library is 5 minutes away.
- Villa Wolkonsky Park is 15 minutes away. Giardini di via Carlo Felice is even closer. Both are great spots for a stroll.
- There is a Carrefour Express around the corner. Conad Supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.
